Job summary

UK Greetings is seeking a part-time Greeting Card Merchandiser to visit local retailers around the Hereford area, ensuring top-quality displays of our products. This temporary role supports seasonal peaks and may lead to permanency.

You will travel to various retailers, tidy and fill displays, unpack deliveries and install new setups. Full training is provided; a valid driving licence is essential, and reliability and flexibility are key for peak periods.

• Ability to work on your own with initiative.
• Strong team ethic and good communication.
• Confident and friendly personality to engage with retailers.

Responsibilities

• Visit local retailers, high street chains or supermarkets.
• Tidy and replenish greeting card and gift dressing displays.
• Locate and unpack deliveries for replenishment of displays.
• Install new displays; ensure displays are visually appealing.
• No cold calling or direct selling involved.

Hours: 4 hours per week
Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Duration: This temporary role is expected to last until approx. January 2027.

As a part time Greeting Card Merchandiser you will be the face of UK Greetings, calling upon retail outlets in and around your local area, ensuring our Customers’ displays are of the highest standard. This is a temporary position to cover during busy seasonal periods however t he role may lead to a permanent position should the opportunity arise.

The role involves:

• Visiting local retailers, high street chains or supermarkets
• Tidying & filling greeting card & gift dressing displays
• Locating & unpacking deliveries for replenishment of displays
• Installation of new displays
• No cold calling or direct selling is involved

To be a Part Time Merchandiser, you will need to have:

• Reliable & conscientious work ethic
• Flexibility around working times & notably during peak seasonal periods when overtime is likely to be required
• The initiative & ability to work on your own
• A strong team ethic
• A confident & friendly personality
• No experience is required, as we offer full training
• Full driving licence (essential)
