Job summary

Smiths News Northampton is seeking an instore Merchandiser to bring products to life on the shop floor. You will own your territory, ensure POS placement, stock levels and audits, and maintain brand-aligned displays.

You will plan visits, travel costs are payable where eligible, and a flexible 5–20 hour per week schedule is offered. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Friendly, confident personality with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and high integrity.
• To be located within 15 miles of advertised area.

Merchandiser – Northampton
Flexible, part time contract
Pay Rate – £14.24 Per hour (includes Holiday Pay)

Travel time and mileage are payable subject to eligibility

Plus: Location Allowance if applicable

Full UK Driving licence plus use of vehicle required.

About the role:

As an Instore Merchandiser, you’ll bring products to life out in the world on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, taking care of point-of-sale placement to stock replenishment and auditing. You’ll take pride in first-class standards, creating and maintaining
visually impactful displays, and building strong relationships with store colleagues and managers. You’ll be the person who
keeps everything in order, ensuring that stock is replenished and that displays stay on-brand. You’ll take charge of your own
cost-effective journey plan and make every visit count. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy and loves to engage with
others, this role is for you.
