About The Role

Responsible for commercial merchandising activities across planning, trading and execution of tasks related to the product lifecycle and commercial planning. Actions have a direct impact on maximising customer satisfaction, sales and profitability through effective commercial and inventory management to achieve overall business objectives and targets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage Merchandise Financial Plan to support strategic objectives and commercial budgets
Construct annual commercial budgets to deliver business objectives
Ensure effective stock flow through the business for your department of accountability, by robust planning
Create stock profile for your relevant department to support strategic and commercial objective, whilst managing availability targets
Manage effective pricing approach throughout the product lifecycle to ensure volume and margin maintained, whilst stocks managed, aligning to the trading plan
Manage and optimise the critical path to effectively fulfil merchandise plans
Optimise product lifecycle including replenishment with utilisation of the Forecasting application
Continual review and improvement of end to end processes and technical scope to deliver consistent best practice and efficiencies throughout.
Working in collaboration with logistics, operations and sourcing, establish opportunity to increase speed to market
Identify opportunity within the P&L to reduce cost.
Leverage data to best inform strategic business insights and relevant application
