Job summary

Smiths News is seeking an Instore Merchandiser to manage territory merchandising and stock displays in Folkestone area. You will be responsible for POS placement, replenishment, auditing and maintaining on-brand displays. The role offers flexible, part-time hours with travel across stores.

Ideal candidates have a friendly, proactive approach, strong communication, and reliability. A UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required. You must live within 15 miles of the advertised area.

Merchandiser – Folkstone
Flexible, part time contract
Pay Rate – £14.24 Per hour (includes Holiday Pay)

Travel time and mileage are payable subject to eligibility

Plus: Location Allowance if applicable

Full UK Driving licence plus use of vehicle required.

About the role:

As an Instore Merchandiser, you’ll bring products to life out in the world on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, taking care of point-of-sale placement to stock replenishment and auditing. You’ll take pride in first-class standards, creating and maintaining visually impactful displays, and building strong relationships with store colleagues and managers. You’ll be the person who keeps everything in order, ensuring that stock is replenished and that displays stay on-brand. You’ll take charge of your own cost-effective journey plan and make every visit count. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy and loves to engage with others, this role is for you.

Previous Merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory. However, you will need:
