Job summary

Smiths News is seeking an Instore Merchandiser in Bulwell to bring products to life on the shop floor. You will own your territory, handling POS placement, stock replenishment and audits while building strong relationships with store colleagues.

This flexible, part-time role offers 5-20 hours per week with travel time and mileage reimbursed. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, with Holiday Pay and pension benefits included.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
• Be located within 15 miles of advertised area.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Ability to work on own initiative and make decisions under pressure.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory with point-of-sale placement, stock replenishment and auditing.
• Create and maintain visually impactful displays on the shop floor.
• Build strong relationships with store colleagues and store managers.
• Keep displays on-brand and costs managed during visits.
• Plan cost-effective routes and visit scheduling.

Pay Rate – £14.24 Per hour (includes Holiday Pay)

About the role:

As an Instore Merchandiser, you’ll bring products to life out in the world on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, taking care of point-of-sale placement to stock replenishment and auditing. You’ll take pride in first-class standards, creating and maintaining
visually impactful displays, and building strong relationships with store colleagues and managers. You’ll be the person who
keeps everything in order, ensuring that stock is replenished and that displays stay on-brand. You’ll take charge of your own
cost-effective journey plan and make every visit count. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy and loves to engage with
