Overview
We are looking for a Merchandiser - Retail and Wholesale. Within this role you will support the Merchandising function to plan and deliver 'best of Boden' ranges in Partnerships.
Location: 3-4 days per week based at our North Acton Office. What You Will Do
Planning
- Plan an optimum range that delivers against the financials and aligns to Directs big ideas, category mixes and growth plans.
- Optimum range size and phasing always considering Customer mindset (Seasonal timings, End Use, Pricing) and Selling channels (Online, stores, wholesale, marketplace).
- Range appeal to all Partners - Product & attribute architecture to support partner nuances e.g., print mix, price architecture, buy now wear now by Partner.
- Influence and communicate across functions to aid selling
- Partner phasing requirements.
- Work closely with E-commerce Team to ensure images are ready and available to Partners.
- Lead Partner meetings.
Trading
- Present weekly trade performance, making recommendations that are action focused to optimise.
- Regular trade meetings with Partners to communicate Boden vision and ensure strategies are aligned.
OTB planning & phasing
- WSSI management.
- Ensure OTB generated satisfies the key KPIs.
- Seasonal strategy for offers.
- Critical path planning & management.
- Manage impact of returns.
Stock Management
- Adhere to stock plans by Partner and location.
- Allocation and Replenishment management.
- Recall management.
- WH capacity planning.
Systems & Processes
- Support implementation of S5 throughout the Business.
- Robust Monthly forecast review adhered to.
- Support data accuracy.
- Be vocal in challenging the status quo and offer solutions to improve the future.
- Consider requirements for future projects e.g., Retail, Wholesale, Marketplace.
- Active use and support of other tools provided by the business.
Management and Stakeholder relationships
- Ability to deputise for Merchandising Manager when required.
- Lead weekly 121's with direct reports.
- Comfortable to delegate to enable learning within the teams.
- Clear, consistent processes through the Critical Path with well communicated, timely deadlines.
- Build cross-functional relationships across Product, Finance, IT, Warehouse and Partners.
- Liaising with Direct teams to ensure order fulfilment and that changes are communicated to Partner clearly and in time.
- Chair regular Partner meeting to share Trade updates and insights into performance and explore ATS opportunities.
