Recruit So Simple Ltd is seeking an experienced Merchandiser in the Bradford area to drive range planning, forecasting and stock management for a leading global fashion business. The role collaborates with buying, design, sales and sourcing to balance strategic planning with day-to-day trading and supply chain execution.

Ideal candidates will have wholesale/fashion experience, strong Excel and data analysis skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Merchandiser or in similar roles.
• Experience in retail fashion, wholesale fashion or apparel.
• Strong commercial awareness in wholesale trading.
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with sales forecasts and stock planning.
• Good organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive and solutions-focused.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage seasonal range plans and sales forecasts.
• Monitor sales, stock, and margin against budget.
• Own WSSI planning and stock forecasting processes.
• Manage intake, deliveries and critical path activity.
• Provide detailed analysis by category, customer and season.
• Lead regular trade meetings and reforecasting sessions.
• Support wholesale customer delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with sourcing, logistics and suppliers to ensure product flow.
• Produce commercial reports and recommendations for decisions.
• Collaborate with buying, design, sales and ecommerce to meet objectives.

Location : Bradford Area

Up to £45,000 DOE + Benefits / Hybrid Working (2 Days WFH)

A leading global fashion business is seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join their growing team and play a key role in driving commercial success across wholesale accounts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded merchandising professional who enjoys working cross-functionally with buying, design, sales and sourcing teams, balancing strategic planning with day-to-day trading and supply chain management.

The Role

As Merchandiser, you'll take ownership of range planning, forecasting, stock management and critical path execution, ensuring products are delivered on time, within budget and in line with customer requirements.

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you'll use trading insights, sales analysis and market knowledge to maximise sales opportunities while protecting margin and stock performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and managing seasonal range plans and sales forecasts
• Monitoring sales, stock and margin performance against budget
• Owning WSSI planning and stock forecasting processes

• Providing detailed analysis by category, customer and season

About You - experience you'll have:

• Previous and recent experience as a Merchandiser, Junior Merchandiser or Senior Assistant Merchandiser
• Recent Experience within retail fashion, Wholesale fashion or apparel,
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of wholesale trading environments
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
• Experience working with sales forecasts, stock planning and margin management
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident communication and stakeholder management abilities
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Living commutable to the Bradford area and eligible to work in the UK
