  10. Maximize space and options, highlighting risks and opportunities with clear action points.
  11. Manage seasonal OTB, devising and agreeing on option count and phasing in line with the assortment plan, and communicate to the buying team within deadlines.
  12. Set stock requirements to meet sales and profit plans, aligning total and branch stocks, FP, and MD, top-down and bottom-up within agreed timeframes.
  13. Align stock levels with DCK & Host strategy, presenting opportunities and risks with measurable actions. Maintain stock within plan parameters and communicate clearly with the Merchandise Manager.
  14. Undertake accurate in-season forecasting, reflecting current trading conditions, highlighting risks and opportunities, and feeding into the planner.
  15. Review OTB/OTC requirements, reacting to reforecasts and current trading, keeping within stock requirements.
  16. Highlight margin risks with buying and suggest actions to bring back to plan.
  17. Gather information from hosts, such as footfall and customer insights, to inform performance and necessary changes.
  18. Identify opportunities and use analytics to solve them, including optimization of options, ranging, price, stores, and VM, driving business through data and analysis.
  19. Reforecast sales, stock, intake, and markdowns in the WSSI and line cards for review.
  20. Manage the team, ensuring clear priorities and consistent ways of working.
  21. Explore opportunities to drive team success using data and analytics tools.
