Job summary

Cosine Group is seeking Merchandisers for the Basingstoke area. Flexible across Monday to Sunday with fixed days Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Start within 2 weeks after onboarding.

Approx 8–10 hours per week at £15.07 p/h PAYE including holiday pay. You will visit stores within 10 miles, set up POS materials, and maintain attractive displays. Ideal candidates have retail or merchandising experience and are comfortable working independently with a car for transporting materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or merchandising is preferred.
• Availability 6 days a week with fixed visits Tue, Thu, Sat.
• Driver with own car required to transport materials.

Responsibilities

• Visit high street, grocery and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits and POS set up.
• Navigate fixtures such as gondolas, bays and shelving confidently.
• Merchandise products in line with planograms.
• Maximize stock on shelves to drive sales and keep displays attractive.
• Top up products and arrange displays to be eye-catching and easy to find.
• Negotiate extra display space where possible to boost sales.
• Some stock movement and lifting may be involved.

Job description

We are looking for Merchandisers in the Basingstoke area. Approx 8 - 10 hours per week* (However likely to increase during busy periods) £15.07 p/h PAYE including holiday pay. Start within 2 weeks after onboarding and training with long-term, ongoing work available. Flexible working across Monday to Sunday with some fixed days - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Ideal experience would be in retail or merchandising - health & beauty would be beneficial - supporting new launches, refreshes, or promotional activity. Use of a car is essential.

Territory covering:

Basingstoke(you will be required to cover stores within 10 miles of here) and surrounding

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Visit a mix of high street, grocery, and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits, and set up point-of-sale (POS) materials.
• Confidently navigating fixtures (e.g. gondolas, bays, shelving)
• Merchandise products in line with agreed planograms.
• Make sure as much stock as possible is out on shelves to help drive sales and keep displays looking great.
• Arrange and top up products on shelves and displays so they’re eye-catching and easy for customers to find.
• Where possible, negotiate extra display space to help boost sales.
• Some stock moving and lifting may be involved from time to time.

What we’re looking for:

• Ideally, experience in retail or merchandising.
• Experience in retailers such as Boots, department stores, or premium beauty chains is desirable.
• Someone who is available Monday to Sunday. We do have fixed visits to be completed on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
• Someone reliable, adaptable, and happy working independently.
• Confident talking to store staff and building good in-store relationships.
• Takes pride in their work.
• Use your own car, as you may need to carry promotional materials or small displays (these may be delivered and stored to your home).
• Use of a phone or tablet to complete reporting on our app — this includes sending clear photos and sharing useful feedback.
