Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Car Sales Executive to join our Mercedes Benz Dealership in Grimsby.

The hours of work are between 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday, with a day off in the week and working weekends on a rota basis, 9am to 5pm on Saturdays and 10am to 4pm on Sundays. Benefits include use of a company car and an OTE of up to £55,000.

Role And Responsibilities

As a Sales Executive with Listers, you’ll ensure every customer feels valued by understanding how our vehicles fit into their lifestyle. Your focus will be matching customers to the right car, with the appropriate features and add-ons, and guiding them through financing and contracts to achieve total satisfaction.

  • Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations through qualification and making a positive first impression.
  • Maximise opportunities through prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound enquiries, walk-in prospects, and internet leads.
  • Achieve monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to maximise profit.
  • Comply with FCA and data protection regulations by accurately collecting customer and vehicle data to enhance the customer database.

About You

  • Previous experience as a car sales executive, retail manager, or sales manager is preferred.
  • You should demonstrate a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers.
  • Potential to develop a successful career in the automotive industry.
  • Valid UK driver’s licence is required.
  • Experience in motor trade, automotive, or car dealership is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
