Job Description:

deverellsmith are recruiting on behalf of our client, forward thinking, growing property developer, for a M&E Site Manager to join them, initially on a 3 month contract with the possibility to extend.


Responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination and delivery of all MEP systems within the development. Working closely with project teams and subcontractors you will ensure the successful delivery of MEP components, on time and in budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall project plans
  • Review and approve MEP design drawings, specifications, and drawings for accuracy and compliance with local codes and regulations
  • Manage the procurement of MEP materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project budgets
  • Oversee the selection of MEP subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and monitor their performance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Inspect MEP installations, witness commissioning, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Implement sustainable and energy-efficient MEP solutions to align with our commitment to environmental responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a MEP Package manager in residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
