The Role:

The Site Agent will manage the construction site to ensure project delivery aligns with customer objectives while maintaining health and safety, quality, environmental standards, and cost control.

They will oversee multiple ongoing projects, ensuring they meet quality, schedule, and commercial performance targets.

The post-holder will collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Department, engineers, and surveyors to complete projects safely while exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Management
• Maximize the commercial performance of the contract
• Ensure successful project delivery
• Maintain safety and environmental standards
• Deliver work to specified quality standards without defects
• Develop and implement Project Management Plans in line with company procedures
• Create procurement schedules and coordinate with procurement to ensure resource availability
• Manage client relationships and stakeholder engagement
• Deliver end products that satisfy customers
• Control costs and maximize project value
• Maintain detailed site records and diaries
• Drive cost efficiencies and challenge the status quo
• Identify and promote value engineering opportunities
• Produce accurate reports for clients and internal use
• Lead weekly site meetings following company protocols

Key Skills and Experience:

• Management experience on construction sites, particularly in MEP packages and utilities
• Growing knowledge of commercial and contractual aspects
• Experience working in cost-sensitive environments
• People management skills
• Experience managing subcontractors
• Stakeholder management experience, especially with clients
• Strong relationship-building skills with external parties
• Extensive MEP technology knowledge and experience
• Problem-solving skills in construction contexts
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literacy, advanced proficiency
• CSCS card

Desirable Skills:

• Experience at Heathrow Airport or similar critical areas
• Experience working in international organizations
• Stakeholder management beyond clients
• Membership in an MEP institution or equivalent
