About the role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join our outstanding Major Projects team at our Old Oak Common development in London. Join us and be part of the largest construction project in the UK.

HS2's new c. 1 billion Old Oak Common station will become the UK's best-connected rail station once completed. Our Balfour Beatty VINCI SYTRA joint venture will be responsible for the final design, construction, and commissioning of the station in Northwest London.

Upon completion, the station will feature six underground platforms and up to eight platforms on the adjacent Great Western Main Line. It will provide high-speed rail services to the Midlands, central London, Scotland, and the North, as well as direct services to three major airports. The station will include passenger and retail facilities, offering an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing
  1. Form a key role within the MEPFC services team, managing a large volume of documents, drawings, and correspondence related to Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Fire, communications systems, Lifts, and Escalators.
  2. Support subcontractors by administering document tracking and transfer, which is fundamental to project progress and delivery.
  3. Be central to the receipt and transmittal of all documents.
  4. Communicate weekly movement of correspondence to the MEP team and chase responses to ensure timely progress.
  5. Produce tracking documents, monitor progress, and report accordingly.
