Job Title

MEP Rail Sector Director – Buildings Team

Overview

We invite you to bring your expertise as a Rail Sector focused Building Services Director to join our multi-disciplinary ‘Buildings’ team. You will be an inspirational leader, building new client relationships and supporting the growth and leadership of the rail sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead rail projects of scale as the most senior Ramboll point of contact, delivering projects profitably and to client satisfaction.
  • Take full technical and commercial leadership, managing project financial performance, change and commercial risk.
  • Apply excellent engineering skills and full appreciation of rail building services design incorporating digital engineering.
  • Possess experience as CEM, CRE, DPE, PE or equivalent on rail schemes and be familiar with client technical assurance processes and railway standards.
  • Demonstrate commercial and contractual competence when delivering projects.
  • Raise the profile and reputation of Ramboll’s rail offering across the UK and internationally through networking, business meetings, seminars and thought leadership.
  • Support and develop Building Services Engineers in all aspects of rail design by active competence management and training oversight.
  • Contribute to develop and promote Ramboll’s multi‑discipline capability in the local market.
  • Attract talented recruits to build a skilled, diverse, efficient, and highly regarded Ramboll Buildings team.

  • Effective English oral and written communication skills.
