Summary:
The Post-Contract MEP QS Engineer plays a key role in managing the financial aspects of MEP projects after contract award, ensuring effective cost control, tracking variations, and assessing contractor claims. This position requires preparation of bills of quantities, financial reports, and project cost management, ensuring that the project remains within budget while meeting all contractual obligations. The engineer will also monitor the execution of MEP works on-site, ensuring that the costs align with the initial estimations and identifying opportunities for cost optimization. The role involves working closely with project management, procurement teams, and contractors to ensure the project’s financial performance is on track.
