MEP Quantity Surveyor (QS) - Permanent Role - St Albans

Our client, a leading building services and facilities maintenance contractor operating throughout London and the home counties, is looking for a QS to join their commercial team based in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all applications are submitted in line with contractual terms.
• Ensuring sub-contractor payments are made on time.
• Assisting the commercial team.
• Monitoring all applications submitted and tracking/reissuing rejected works when appropriate.
• Pricing all jobs by their appropriate revenue code to ensure correct billing.
• Producing and agreeing on a monthly application.
• Monitoring and managing costs to maintain profitability.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified.
• M&E experience.
• Experience in surveying, pricing, and validating subcontractor quotations.
• Experience in measuring works, generating, and agreeing applications.
• Negotiation skills.
