Overview

We are working with a leading UK developer who are delivering a flagship 300-unit residential scheme. They are seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to oversee all mechanical and electrical works, from design coordination through to commissioning and handover. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven M&E leader to join a high-profile development and play a pivotal role in its successful delivery.

The Role

As M&E Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage the full M&E operations on a large-scale residential project.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement schedules, QA, and H&S compliance.
  • Liaise with design managers, commissioning teams, and statutory authorities.
  • Drive programme delivery, ensuring mechanical and electrical works are completed to the highest quality and on time.
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, and facilities management during construction and handover.
  • Ensure all testing, commissioning, and handover documentation is completed and coordinated.
About You
  • Proven track record as an M&E Project Manager on residential or mixed-use developments.
  • Strong knowledge across both mechanical and electrical building services.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, programmes, and specifications.
  • Industry-relevant qualification (Degree / City & Guilds / NVQ in M&E discipline preferred).
  • Valid SMSTS card.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
