Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a skilled Project Engineer - MEP for a major UK infrastructure programme, based in Rickmansworth, with a hybrid pattern (three days on site, two days remote). The role oversees MEP installation across five tunnel shafts, with client-side technical assurance and strong site presence.

Salary up to £71,000 DOE, plus a 12% pension, 33 days holiday and clear progression opportunities; permanent, full-time position offering long-term development within a major

Qualifications

Strong MEP experience in mechanical, electrical, public health or building services.
Experience overseeing complex MEP installation, testing and commissioning in live construction environments.
Rail, tunnelling or major infrastructure experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Providing client-side technical assurance across major MEP works
Overseeing MEP installation across five tunnel shafts
Reviewing works against approved designs, specifications and standards
Identifying technical issues, defects and non-compliance
Supporting inspections, testing and commissioning activities
Collaborating with contractors and design teams to resolve site issues
Reviewing drawings, technical submissions and engineering evidence
Long-term progression within a major infrastructure programme
