Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an MEP Project Engineer to drive energy-saving projects under EPC frameworks in the UK. You will design, validate and deliver guaranteed energy, carbon and cost savings, working with Business Development, Delivery and M&V teams to ensure practical, achievable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technical solutions in energy-saving, decarbonisation or building-services environments.
• Understanding of Solar PV, ASHPs, LED upgrades, BMS optimisation and efficiency measures.
• Knowledge of IPMVP and M&V principles.
• Ability to produce high-level appraisals and investment-grade proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of energy-saving projects from concept to completion.
• Develop and validate solutions delivering guaranteed energy, carbon and financial savings.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager to improve programme performance.
• Identify and report technical deviations affecting guaranteed outcomes.
• Conduct on-site technical and quality audits; carry out surveys and produce data-driven proposals and reports.
• Provide technical oversight during installation to ensure safe, compliant delivery.
• Work with internal teams and contractors to support smooth execution.
• Assist with Measurement & Verification and post-installation checks.

Job Description Join Asset Plus as MEP Project Engineer and help deliver energy-saving projects that support the UK's transition to Net Zero. What You Will Do You will support the delivery of Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) solutions that help customers meet sustainability and decarbonisation goals. Working with Business Development, Delivery, and Measurement & Verification teams, you will design and validate solutions that deliver guaranteed carbon, energy and cost savings. You'll work directly with customers to understand their needs and ensure proposed measures are practical and achievable.
