An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced MEP Design Manager to join a leading Design & Build contractor based in North West London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the design development of electrical and mechanical systems on major construction projects. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate MEP design processes from concept through to construction.

Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance.

*

Review and manage MEP designs, ensuring they meet client requirements, budgets, and regulatory standards.

*

Ensure integration of electrical and mechanical systems across design packages.

*

Attend design meetings, provide technical input, and manage design-related risk.

Essential Requirements:

*

Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical Design Management within a main contractor or building consultancy in the UK construction industry.

*

Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.

*

Demonstrable experience working on large-scale residential or commercial developments valued at £20 million and above.

*

Strong understanding of UK building regulations, M&E systems integration, and design coordination.

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
