Qualifications

• Proven MEP Design experience is essential; Civil/Arch experience not suitable.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations is required.
• Understanding of MEP systems in large-scale buildings/infrastructure is crucial.

Overview

MEP Design Manager is required to play a key role on a Major Rail Infrastructure Project. Are you an experienced MEP Design professional ready to take on a critical role in one of the UK's most high-profile infrastructure projects? My client is looking for a MEP Design Manager to join their team and take ownership of design deliverables, coordination and assurance across complex sub-systems.

As MEP Design Manager you will manage and assure the design deliverables for one or more MEP sub-systems, supporting the project through Stage 5 detailed design for construction and manufacture. With a sharp focus on coordination, interface management, and delivering approved-for-construction designs, you'll help ensure that we build right the first time.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assure the design deliverables for one or more MEP sub-systems, supporting Stage 5 detailed design for construction and manufacture.
• Coordinate interfaces and ensure alignment with other disciplines to deliver approved-for-construction designs.
• Contribute to a major engineering programme delivering nationally significant infrastructure with a lasting legacy.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven MEP Design experience (Essential - Civil/Arch experience not suitable)
• Solid knowledge of CDM Regulations
• Broad understanding of MEP systems in large-scale buildings/infrastructure
• Rail project experience (Preferred)
• Familiarity with design software tools and processes
• Excellent reporting and communication skills
