Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an MEP Design Engineer Assistant in Romford to develop core design skills within mechanical and electrical building services. You will gain hands-on experience with CAD/BIM, generate drawings, and support project teams from concept through construction.

You will work office-based, Monday to Friday, with occasional site visits, and benefit from training and clear career progression as you expand skills in 2D/3D modeling and coordination with project

Qualifications

• Background in Building Services, MEP, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Able to understand technical drawings.
• Office-based with occasional site visits; commutable to Romford.

MEP Design Engineer Assistant

Romford, Essex (Commutable from: Dagenham, Ilford, Barking, Brentwood, Epping, Chigwell, Grays, Basildon)

Are you from a Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical or MEP background, looking to develop your design skills through technical training and long-term career progression?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to develop across mechanical and electrical building services design, gaining hands-on experience with CAD/BIM, technical drawings and project coordination alongside experienced engineers.

This company are an established specialist contractor with a close-knit team and are looking to develop someone technically as they continue to support a range of building services projects.

On offer is a varied position where you will support projects from initial design through to construction, producing and amending drawings, assisting with calculations and coordinating designs alongside Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and site teams.

This role would suit someone with education or experience in Building Services, MEP, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering looking to develop into an accomplished Design Engineer.

The Role:

• Assist with mechanical and electrical building services designs
• Produce and amend 2D/3D CAD/BIM drawings and models
• Monday-Friday, office based with occasional site visits

The Candidate:
