Job summary

BSV Recruitment Limited is seeking a CAD/BIM Manager to lead the delivery of CAD and BIM standards across building services projects. The role focuses on maintaining standards, coordinating models, and supporting engineering teams to produce accurate, coordinated project information.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a CAD/BIM management or senior role, strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD, and the ability to mentor staff while improving digital design processes and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading CAD/BIM management or senior coordination roles.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary MEP models.
• Understanding of BIM standards, workflows and information management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain CAD and BIM standards, procedures and workflows.
• Oversee production and coordination of 2D drawings and 3D BIM models across MEP projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to engineers, technicians and design teams.
• Manage BIM coordination and ensure models meet project standards.
• Develop and maintain Revit families, templates, project standards and libraries.
• Carry out model and drawing audits for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and public health models with other disciplines.
• Support clash detection and resolution throughout the design process.
• Ensure project information aligns with BIM standards, client requirements and protocols.
• Assist with BIM processes, information management and CDE implementation.
• Provide training and mentoring on CAD/BIM software, standards and best practices.
• Liaise with engineers, architects, contractors and consultants to resolve issues.
• Support project teams with delivery of models, drawings, schedules and technical information.
• Keep up to date with BIM technology, software and industry standards.
