An established industry player is seeking an Associate level Building Services Engineer to join their growing team. This role involves managing significant projects from concept to completion while ensuring high standards of service delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with high-profile clients, leveraging their technical expertise and communication skills to exceed expectations. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic environment, with the potential for strategic project and business management roles in the future. Join a forward-thinking company that values your contributions and offers a long-term career path.
Our client was first established in Leeds over 20 years ago and today is one of the West Yorkshire region's most successful M&E design practices. With offices in Leeds and Belfast, the business has secured long-term customers across key sectors including logistics and distribution, retail, aviation, and high-rise residential.
With the enviable position of working directly for end users and / or the developer, strategically away from traditional number crunching for contractors, the business benefits from early engagement in all projects and a more consultative relationship with the customer. This heightened level of trust also sees the company support projects once on site, supervising contractors and ensuring the smooth delivery of all MEP services through to final handover.
As the business grows organically and gears up for the start of several large schemes in 2025, further technical resource is required to assist with the management of key relationships and to help ensure projects are delivered to time and cost. The appointment of an Associate level Building Services Engineer is a key appointment and will be responsible for managing live schemes from initial concept to completion, ensuring expectations are collectively met and, where at all possible, exceeded.
Applications are invited from highly experienced Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineers from a strong Building Services background, keen to further their career in a client-facing environment with direct accountability to high-profile end users delivering major schemes across the UK and wider Europe. This important position will require high levels of technical competence, clear and precise communication skills, and robust line management. Additional duties will also include the mentoring of junior members of staff and the further development of a customer base with substantial growth possibilities.
In return for your hard work, the successful applicant can look forward to a long-term career path and opportunity to move further into strategic project and business management.
