Quarriers is launching Intandem in Dumfries and Galloway and is seeking a Mentoring Co-ordinator to help establish the service. This part-time role (17.5 hours per week) is funded for three years and focuses on connecting children and kinship care families with trusted mentors who can make a lasting difference.

Based in Dumfries or Stranraer, you will recruit and support volunteer mentors, coordinate referrals and matching, and build local partnerships across a diverse region.

Help Launch Intandem Dumfries & Galloway

Be part of something new. Help connect children and young people in kinship care with a trusted adult who can make a lasting difference.

Quarriers is bringing Intandem, Scotland’s national mentoring programme, to Dumfries and Galloway. Managed by Inspiring Scotland and delivered by partner charities across Scotland, Intandem is built on the power of trusted relationships that help young people grow in confidence, build resilience and realise their potential.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Mentoring Co-ordinator to help establish and grow this exciting new service.

This is a part time role working 17.5 hours per week with funding in place for three years.

What You’ll Do

You’ll recruit and support volunteer mentors, coordinate referrals and matching, build strong local partnerships and work directly alongside children, young people and kinship care families.

This is an opportunity to shape a new service from the ground up, helping ensure young people across Dumfries and Galloway can access life-changing mentoring relationships.

Practical Information

• Based in Dumfries or Stranraer.
• Flexible and agile working available.
• Regular travel across Dumfries and Galloway is required.
• Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
• Mileage expenses paid.
