Job summary

Fleet Education Services is seeking dedicated mentors to support learners across Hertfordshire. You will deliver personalised mentoring sessions, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and schools to ensure positive outcomes. The role offers flexible hours and weekly PAYE pay.

Join a dedicated team, receive CPD training, and help mentees build confidence and achieve their goals through tailored, supportive mentoring assignments.

Qualifications

• At least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths.
• Minimum of 6 months UK mentoring experience (including HLTA/TA/LSA work).
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting mentees with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK with no restrictions on working hours.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Delivering personalised mentoring sessions that engage, inspire, and help mentees progress toward their goals.
• Monitoring mentee progress and providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborating with parents, guardians, and schools to ensure appropriate mentee progression.
• Maintaining accurate session records through our virtual learning platform.

Then join Fleet Education Services as a Mentor (Progression/Attendance) and support students across Hertfordshire (Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Stevenage, Welwyn, and more). We offer flexible working hours, weekly pay, CPD training, and a dedicated team to support you while you mentor with us.

What You’ll Need to be a Mentor:

• At least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths.
