Nationwide, remote based role

Permanent – full-time and part-time hours considered

Salary: up to £27,750 per annum dependent on experience

What You'll Be Doing

What’s a typical day?

The role will involve working independently whilst under clinical supervision from Qualified professionals including Clinical Psychologists and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapists and as part of a wider clinical team whilst liaising daily with internal and external services/organisations. You will have ongoing clinical guidance from Qualified mental health professionals including regular clinical supervision but should be able to work within your competencies and have experience working with a diverse range of patient groups. You will conduct mental health assessments and make evidence-based treatment recommendations for Bupa clients in line with NICE guidelines, customers and members in accordance with relevant policies and procedures. You will be responsible for and manage a caseload of clients receiving computerised-CBT by completing fortnightly reviews and support for intervention. You will support oncology clients in association with Macmillan cancer by conducting mental health assessments and making recommendations for those living with cancer.

Who we’re looking for?

  • You will have completed a BPS accredited degree in Psychology or health-related sciences.
  • You hold an MSc for example in Psychology, or associated therapies or health-related sciences or you will have experience in a healthcare assessment role and/or have worked with different patient groups to coordinate mental and/or physical health care.
  • Strong professional and personal drive

  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Ability to respond rapidly and decisively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • IT proficient
  • Proven experience of customer service
  • Working within level of competence and recognising when to seek supervision
