NFI Vermont is seeking a Mental Health Worker to join the Hospital Diversion Program. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support youth in crisis, provide supervision during awake and sleeping hours, and help create a safe community alternative for inpatient youth.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience with youth and a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field. Inpatient facility with comprehensive benefits offered.

Hospital Diversion Program of NFI Vermont is a short-term inpatient facility for adolescents experiencing acute psychiatric crisis. Our skilled trauma-informed team of mental health workers provide our clients with crisis stabilization, clinical consultation, and individual treatment planning in a small and safe setting. We are looking for dynamic mental health workers to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to support youth in crisis
• Provide supervision and support to adolescents during both awake and sleeping hours
• Facilitate a comfortable community alternative for inpatient youth

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth and/or adolescents
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field

• Starting Pay $20.50-$23.00 per hour

$2 shift differential nights and weekends
