Location: Downfield Place SLS

Salary: £24,618 per annum (£12.62 p/h equivalent)

Full time – Permanent

About the role

Downfield HMO (House of multiple occupancy) is a 24hr service which means the role will include a sleepover shift. The service supports four people and also provides outreach support within the local community. Mental Health & Wellbeing teams aim to reduce social isolation and improve physical and mental wellbeing. They will provide social, emotional, and practical support and help people engage with other services and local community activities. As a Mental Health & Wellbeing Worker you will provide supported people with recovery focussed support and help them work towards individual goals and outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Work 5 days out of 7 with a sleepover shift (22:30–07:30) as part of a rolling rota each week.
  • Sleepover shifts are paid at an additional rate of £106.28 per sleepover including holiday pay.
  • Engage with and support service users to reduce social isolation and improve physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Provide recovery‑focussed support and help individuals work towards their personal goals and outcomes.
  • Support people with social, emotional, and practical needs and help them engage with other services and local community activities.
  • Work within the Downfield Supported Living Service and provide outreach support within the local community.
  • Weekend working is shared within the team as part of the rolling rota.
