A secure patient transport company is seeking Mental Health Transport Assistants. The role involves providing transport and support for vulnerable service users and requires a valid UK driving license. Candidates should be over 21 and possess good communication skills. This full-time role entails a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with competitive remuneration and benefits including pension and health care options.
This role is for Mental Health Transport Assistants working full-time, providing transport and support for vulnerable service users as part of a team. The role requires attendance at the office within one hour during on-call shifts and maintaining Enhanced DBS clearance (organised and paid for during induction). You will provide a professional and caring service to patients, ensuring patient safety and adhering to safe systems of work. You will support the care of patients during assessments in line with the Mental Health Act and safely operate company vehicles and equipment, preparing required patient paperwork and driving to local and national locations.
