Mental health Transport Assistant (Crawley)

Join to apply for the Mental health Transport Assistant (Crawley) role at Orcutt Labs, Inc.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and transporting vulnerable service users as part of a team.
  • Attending the office within one hour during on-call shifts.
  • Maintaining an Enhanced DBS (organized and paid for during Induction).
  • Providing a professional and caring service for patients.
  • Ensuring patient safety and adherence to safe systems of work.
  • Supporting patient assessments in line with the Mental Health Act.
  • Safely using company vehicles and equipment, preparing patient paperwork, and driving locally and nationally.

Required skills include:

  • Valid UK manual driving license held for at least 1 year.
  • Age over 21 (due to insurance requirements).
  • Ability to work reliably in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
