Mental Health Teaching Assistant - Maidenhead

Are you looking to start a career in education? Are you keen to support children and help them to reach their academic milestones?

A lovely primary school in Maidenhead are looking for a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join them as soon as possible.

What the role as a Mental Health Teaching Assistant entails:

* Your role will mostly entail providing academic support to the class as a whole.
* Some students may require extra attention and you will assist and support them, ensuring they reach their goals!
* You may provide this support, either 1 to 1 or in small groups.
* While you embark on supporting these students, will learn all the necessary qualities to make an amazing teacher.
* If you are looking to apply for your teacher training, this experience will surely set you apart from others!
* While you will be supporting the classroom and students, you will also support the class teacher.
* This will look like helping to set up of lessons, tidying and clearing up after lessons, providing general supervision of the class and help with behaviour management.
* You may also be asked to help with school outings and help supervise outdoor activities.

The Successful Mental Health Teaching Assistant:

* The successful teaching assistant will be enthusiastic and keen to get stuck in.
