Job Description:

Protocol Education is currently recruiting for a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to work with children with Social Emotional Mental Health needs in a specialist setting. The students attend schools that support children with ASC, SEMH, complex learning disabilities, or those with a statement of educational need or an EHCP. The schools aim to support each child's development of self-esteem, achievement of personal targets, and enthusiasm for learning, inspiring and motivating pupils regardless of their individual needs.

The ideal candidate will be professional, passionate about SEND/Social Emotional Mental Health, adaptable to meet individual needs, and possess excellent behaviour management skills.

Pay rates are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanent roles later.
