A well-respected specialist school near Guildford is looking for a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range between 10 and 16 years old and face a variety of challenges including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioral issues. Therefore, the Mental Health Teaching Assistant must be dedicated to being a consistent role model, committed to building strong relationships, empathetic, and ready for a challenge!
The ideal Mental Health Teaching Assistant must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. The perfect candidate will have experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling would also be ideal for this position.

Salary: £80-£100 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, term time only
Location: Must be able to travel to Guildford / Godalming
Training: Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD is provided to ensure the safeguarding of all students
