Job summary

Academics is seeking a Teaching Assistant - Mental Health in Slough to support children and adolescents with trauma, mental health and learning needs. The role runs full-time, 8:30am–3:00pm, with ASAP start, based in Slough.

Ideal candidates are graduates in Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology, though relevant experience is welcome. You will work with therapists and psychologists in a supportive, dynamic environment focusing on emotional wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Ideal for graduates in Psychology, Counselling, Criminology or related fields.
• Relevant experience considered but not essential.
• You will work with children aged 8–18 facing trauma and mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support mental health, personal growth and well-being of children and adolescents.
