Job summary

Coniston House, Nouvita’s brand-new mental health service in Camberley, is looking for caring staff to provide person-centred support to men with mental health needs. You will join a founding team, helping shape the service culture and deliver recovery-focused care.

We offer funded training, progression opportunities, induction and ongoing support, plus benefits including pension, Blue Light Card, and a generous refer-a-friend bonus. Sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s experience of support work preferably within a mental health setting
• A genuinely caring, compassionate approach and a commitment to the people we support
• Enthusiasm for being part of a brand-new service and helping it flourish
• Ideally a qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g. Level 2/3 Diploma) – or the motivation to work towards one with our full support
• Good IT literacy – confident using electronic records and everyday digital systems
• Reliability, resilience and strong teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to men with mental health needs
• Supporting residents with daily living, independence skills, activities and community engagement
• Working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver individual support and recovery plansKeeping accurate, timely records using our electronic care systems
• Helping to create a positive, respectful and recovery focused environment as part of a founding staff team
