Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Bury Dunes is recruiting a Mental Health Support Worker on a full-time contract. You will work 12-hour shifts across days, nights and weekends, supporting male and female service users on adult wards with various personality disorders and mental health issues.

Successful applicants will complete a 3-week full-time induction and join a team delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a setting with extensive facilities and multidisciplinary support.

Qualifications

• Full-time contract (37.5 hours per week) including 12-hour shifts across days, nights and weekends.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Inpatient mental health care on adult wards.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all service users.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Safeguard and maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
