Job summary

Verve Homecare is seeking a dedicated Mental Health HCA to support individuals with complex needs in the community. You will provide 1:1 care, accompanying service users to activities and managing daily documentation to ensure high standards of care.

Applicants must have at least 12 months of UK Mental Health HCA experience, be willing to attend regular training, and work with learning disabilities and autism. Household duties and pet-friendly care are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 12 months of Mental Health HCA experience in the UK.
• Right-to-work documentation.
• Willing to attend and complete regular training and supervision.
• Good knowledge and experience with learning disabilities and autism.
• Experience with mental health diagnoses including psychosis.

Responsibilities

• Daily documentation.
• Supporting service users to access the community.
• Deliver care on a 1:1 basis in accordance with the client\'s person-centered care plan.
• Physical and emotional resilience to support individuals in distress.

Requirements

• All relevant right-to-work documentation
• A minimum of 12 months of experience as a Mental Health HCA in the UK
• Be willing to attend and/or complete regular training and supervision to ensure high standards of care and clinical competency.
• Good knowledge and experience with Learning disabilities and autism
• Experience with various mental health diagnosis including but not limited to psychosis and EID
• Are willing to help client with housekeeping and are okay with pets

The Role involves
