Mental Health Support Worker vacancies waiting to be filled!

Venn Group have been approached by a CQC registered provider and would like to introduce the following positions available

Position: Mental Health Support Worker (1 x days and 1 x nights)

Location: Wirral

Rate: £16.50 per hour (Umbrella Rate)

Length: 6-8 weeks initially, opportunity to go permanent

Hours: 37.5/38.5 hours p/week, Monday - Sunday

Key Responsibilities include:

  • To develop therapeutic relationships with the young people experiencing and work closely with their families and carers communicating effectively to provide ongoing engagement
  • To co-operate with all members of the residential team in ensuring a safe environment is maintained for the young people
  • To assist in creating a safe, clean, and secure environment to the highest standards of health and safety for all young people, relatives, and colleagues
  • To conduct audits, assessments, inventories, risk assessments, including Health & Safety audits and other administrative tasks required for the effective running of the service
  • To develop care plans and review plans with young people, co-ordinate support and take part in core groups with the MDT and young person on a regular basis

To be considered for this role you will need to have an enhanced DBS on the update service and previous experience working with vulnerable individuals with Mental Health challenges
