Mental Health Support Worker vacancies waiting to be filled!

Venn Group has been approached by a CQC-registered provider and is offering the following positions:

Position:

Mental Health Support Worker (1 day and 1 night shift)

Location:

Wirral

Rate:

£16.50 per hour (Umbrella Rate)

Duration:

Initially 6-8 weeks, with the opportunity to go permanent

Hours:

37.5/38.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with young people and work closely with their families and carers, communicating effectively to ensure ongoing engagement.
  • Collaborate with the residential team to maintain a safe environment for young people.
  • Assist in creating a safe, clean, and secure environment adhering to high standards of health and safety for all young people, relatives, and colleagues.
  • Conduct audits, assessments, inventories, risk assessments, including Health & Safety audits, and perform other administrative tasks necessary for the effective operation of the service.
  • Develop and review care plans with young people, coordinate support, and participate in core group meetings with the multidisciplinary team and young people regularly.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have an enhanced DBS on the update service and previous experience working with vulnerable individuals with mental health challenges.
