Mental Health Support Worker: Secondary School - Sunderland

Fulltime: Monday-Friday (hour days)

Are you passionate about supporting young people with their mental wellbeing? Why not come join the team of educators working within schools across the country through Protocol?

If you have a passion for supporting mental health, this is the role for you! There are students within secondary schools across the Newcastle area who require support with their mental health.

This is an entry-level role; it may be beneficial if you have personal or professional experience supporting someone with their mental wellbeing; however, all we ask is that you have a passion for supporting student wellbeing.

The Role:
  • Supporting KS 3-4 students with their personal and academic development
  • Providing one-to-one support for students with SEND or SEMH
  • Forming positive relationships with the students you support
  • Supporting the teacher in the classroom
The Requirements:
  • Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
  • Is passionate about supporting students during their time in school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
