Job description

Mental Health Support Worker
Birkenhead
Full Time

We are currently working with a number of mainstream primary and secondary schools and special schools across The Wirral and surrounding areas requiring Mental Health Support Workers to provide SEN (special educational needs) support on a temporary basis.

No previous experience is necessary; however, any relevant experience, whether paid or voluntary, of working with children, young people, or adults with learning disabilities is an advantage. Personal experience is also valued.

  1. Do you have a strong interest in working with children and supporting learners with additional needs?
  2. Are you able to remain calm in stressful and challenging situations?
  3. Do you have a patient and resilient nature?
  4. Are you interested in the flexibility of temporary supply roles?
  5. Are you able to work full-time 8:30am - 4pm?

You must have a child or child and adult enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
