Redbridge Mental Health Support Team (MHST) are hoping to recruit a Clinical Supervisor who is passionate about early intervention for CYP MH.
What is an MHST?
MHSTs are a national initiative in response to the Governments plans to transform children and young peoples mental health provision.

Established in 2021, our MHST sits alongside well-established outreach teams such as our Specialist Teaching Service, Educational Psychology Service, who are committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people and Redbridge Educational Well-Being Team (REWT) a creative and well-regarded team providing universal whole school support to our schools. Our MHST offers a consultation model of service delivery which values a systemic and relational approach.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an applicant who is passionate about supporting early intervention around children and young peoples mental health. We are seeking applicants from Educational/Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers and Systemic Family Therapists and are open to shaping the role depending on professional expertise. We welcome applicants who hold a post graduate diploma in Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Supervision, and can offer the opportunity to undertake this funded training for applicants who have not yet completed this.

The Supervisor will support the development of the MHST initiativewithin Redbridge, under the direction of the team manager.
The Supervisor will work closely with the senior mental health leadsin schools to ensure a whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing.These leads will work closely with the MHSTs to ensure children and youngpeople get the right help as soon as possible.
The Supervisor will be responsible for the caseload management &supervision of the EMHPs who will be providing direct help to children, youngpeople and parents in educational settings by offering rapid access to lowintensity, evidence-based interventions, for mild to moderate mental healthdifficulties.
The Supervisor will oversee the formulation and support for schools,parents, children and young people being known to the MHST using a range ofspecialist psychological interventions appropriate to the service.
The Supervisor will carry out direct joint work with children, youngpeople and parents/carers as part of their work in the MHSTs.
The Supervisor will work in a multi-professional environment and will contribute to relevant meetings as required.
The Supervisor will contribute to the initiation, development and implementationof new responses to changing needs and demands upon the team.
