The school requires a mental health support assistant to support students in their daily activities.

The students are aged 3 to 11, each with personalized educational and healthcare plans, and individual intervention strategies to help them thrive. As a youth mental health worker, you will help ensure they can complete their academic work, navigate their emotions, and learn functional life skills to promote independence.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Delivering tailored interventions aligned with each student's needs and goals
  2. De-escalating meltdowns and challenging behaviors
  3. Assisting children in managing their emotions
  4. Creating a safe and engaging learning environment
