Role: Mental Health Support Worker
  1. Support students in regulating and working through their emotions
  2. Encourage positive coping strategies
  3. Follow through with and facilitate any interventions in place
  4. Provide support to the class teacher
  5. Encourage children to do their best
  6. Help manage, de-escalate, and redirect classroom behavior
  7. Listen to children read and practice phonics
