Job Description:

As an Adults Mental Health Social Worker, you will play a key role in enhancing community wellbeing. You will collaborate with vulnerable individuals to support their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize local knowledge and professional experience to make decisions that respect client autonomy while ensuring safe interventions.
• Ensure assessments are accurate, and enable service users to participate in and understand the assessment process.
• Work within multi-agency teams to provide coordinated, person-centred assessments and support that promote independence.
• Offer appropriate support levels, ensuring value for money for both users and the council.

Requirements:

• Social Work Degree
• Registration with Social Work England
• Enhanced DBS, recent within last 12 months. Fast track options available if you are on the update service.
• Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS if not currently held.
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are advantageous.
