Job role:Senior Support Worker

Contract:Full time, Permanent

Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Salary: £29,245.00 - £30,275.00 per annum (base salary). With an earning potential of £30,064.00 - £31,562.12 (inclusive of on average 1 sleep in per week & your attendance allowance of £1,400 per annum)

Homes2Inspire are looking for a Senior Support Worker to be part of the Management team for a brand new residential bungalow in Worksop, near the A57! This is an emergency placement, so the successful candidate will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to think on their feet.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will support the management team with directing roles and responsibilities to support workers and ensuring the monitoring of children and young people’s behaviour, safety, and well-being.

Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships with others are vital! As a shift leader, the right candidate will be someone who leads by example, upholds standards, and ensures that the safeguarding of children and young people underpins all decisions made.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years' experience working with children and young people in a residential setting
  • QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare or equivalent (In line with Ofsted requirements)
  • Commitment to working a shift pattern including sleep in duties + overtime
  • Full UK driving licence
