About the Role

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a key role in promoting recovery, independence, and social inclusion. Youll work directly with individuals in their own homes and in the community to help them achieve their goals, build resilience, and improve their overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred, strengths-based support tailored to individual recovery plans.

  • Promote independence and empower service users to make informed choices.

  • Support with day-to-day activities, emotional wellbeing, and social engagement.

  • Work collaboratively with local services, families, and other professionals.

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care reviews and planning.

  • Experience or genuine interest in supporting adults with mental health needs.

  • A recovery-focused, non-judgemental, and compassionate approach.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
