Job summary

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Recovery Support Worker for its forensic inpatient mental health team at Guild Lodge. You will create a positive ward environment by planning and leading social, recreational and hobby activities that support wellbeing, confidence and recovery.

Working with service users and the multidisciplinary team, you will deliver a range of group and individual activities across 7 days and evenings, promoting the five ways to wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead social, recreational and hobby activities that support wellbeing, confidence and recovery.
• Encourage participation in activities such as arts, music, sport, wellbeing groups and community opportunities.
• Plan and deliver a range of group and individual activities across 7 days and into the evenings.
• Work alongside ward staff, occupational therapists and the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
