Job description

TEEMA Solutions is actively seeking a qualified Mental Health Professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Psychologist) to join our team for an exciting opportunity at a corrections facility in Stockton, California. No prior corrections experience is necessary – we welcome candidates with a passion for serving the underserved community.

We offer competitive pay rates which vary depending on license type (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychologist) and contract type (1099). Travel packages are also available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with supervisors and treatment team members on complex cases.
  2. Thoroughly document all care provided to inmates, including face-to-face contacts and interdisciplinary meetings.
  3. Monitor inmate progress using approved documentation formats.
  4. Conduct mental status exams and utilize community standards and ethical practices in treatment modalities.
  5. Assist inmates in accessing entitlement benefits, community programs, and services.
  6. Provide written reports and consult with the Board of Prison Hearings.
  7. Communicate with relatives/caregivers as approved by supervisors and with patient consent.
Qualifications:
  1. 1 year of appropriate experience.
  2. Professional License in CA (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychologist).
  3. BLS certification (Must obtain as soon as possible upon offer).
